망미 문화 쉐어센터

사업 대지는 부산 수영구 망미동에 위치해 있으며, 연수로에서 금련산으로의 점차적인 지형적 상승으로 인해서 1.5m의 레벨 차가 있게 된다. 두 개의 주택 대지가 합쳐진 필지에 문화센터가 들어오게 되는데, 하나의 필지는 이미 비워진 상태이지만 다른 하나의 필지에는 아직 기존의 주택 건물이 있으며, 주어진 과제는 기존의 주택 건물의 리모델링과 증축으로 인해 건물의 수평적 수직적 확장으로 문화센터를 수용하는 것이다.

문제를 풀기 위한 전략으로 우선 법정주차 3대를 최대한 대지의 코너로 몰아서 차량이 건물 앞에 서 있는 상황을 막고, 건폐율의 건축면적을 최대한 확보하여 기존 건물 전면에 보이드 공간을 형성하면서 새로운 외피가 덮이도록 계획하였다. 그로 인해 새롭게 계획된 건물 안으로 들어 왔을때 여전히 옛 건물을 볼 수 있고 옛것과 새것이 공존하고 조화를 이루면서 흥미로운 장소를 이룰 수 있도록 하였다. 건물 외벽 재료로는 망미동에서 어렵지 않게 볼 수 있는 붉은 벽돌로 계획되었으며 이는 주변 환경과 자연스럽게 어울릴 수 있는 모습을 보여주며 시간이 흘러도 항상 그 모습을 간직하는 재료의 특성을 가진다. 과거의 모습을 보존하는 계획, 재료의 적절한 사용 그리고 새로운 공간의 제시로 망미 문화쉐어센터가 이 지역의 하나의 기억의 장소로 우리의 머릿속에 남을 수 있기를 기대하였다.

The project site is located in Mangmi-dong, Suyeong-gu, Busan, and there is a level difference of 1.5m due to the gradual topographic rise from Yeonsu-ro to Geumnyeonsan Mountain. A cultural center will be built on a parcel of land where two residential lots are combined. One lot is already empty, but the other lot still has an existing housing building. The task given is to remodel and expand the existing housing building. The cultural center is accommodated through horizontal and vertical expansion. As a strategy to solve the problem, I wanted to prevent the situation where cars were parked in front of the building by putting the three legally requested parking lots to the corner of the site as much as possible. In addition, we imagined covering the skin of the new building by maximizing the building area of the building-to-land ratio and forming a void space in the front of the old structure. As a result, we created a situation where new and old buildings coexist and an interesting space is created through the space between them. The exterior wall material of the building was planned to be red brick, which can be easily seen in Mangmi-dong. This shows the appearance of a cultural center that can naturally blend in with the surrounding environment, and we hoped that this cultural center would remain in our minds as a place of memory in this region due to the characteristics of the material that will always retain its appearance even as time passes.
